Welcome to KCB website

African Tenants Liaison Project

Kenyan Community Bedford has signed a joined venture with Bedfordshire Pilgrims Housing Association; one of the biggest housing associations in Bedfordshire with more than 11,000 houses. Up to 50 households with a customer profile of “African” will be offered The African Tenants Liaison service.

The aim of the project is to ensure the target group has access to information to enable them to exercise their rights and responsibilities as tenants, KCB was commissioned for this role because of shared cultural and language backgrounds which will help liaise with the target group on behalf of bpha.

KCB trustees and members have received full training from the housing association to enable them perform their duties effectively. KCB will make contact with each household in the target group to raise their awareness of tenancy and related matters, and to follow up any outstanding matters on their behalf.

**If you are a BPHA tenant and would like to benefit from this service please do not hesitate to contact us at kenyancommunitybedford@yahoo.co.uk*
